Michael Zapruder is a San Francisco-based singer/songwriter whose folk-pop ballads consist of melodic and harmonic sophistications.  He is a multi-instrumentalist who has been described as a “resonant of the voice of Rufus Wainwright and wordplay of Andrew Bird."  In 1999 he began his musical career with his 52 Songs project, wherein he wrote, recorded and posted online a song each week for a year.  Since then he has recorded three albums, his most recent being Dragon Chinese Cocktail Horoscope.
